On January 5th through January 8th, 2017, CES celebrated its 50th annual show and it did not disappoint! In fact, CES 2017 broke world records by having the largest show floor in CES history, and for being the world’s largest innovation event. This year alone, there were over 175,000 attendees and over 3,800 exhibitors – AfterShokz included!
For those who are familiar with CES, we were located at booth 44621 in the Sands Expo Center and if you happened to stop by – thanks for doing so! We had a great time meeting new customers as well as many #ShokzSquad members. If you didn’t make it out to CES this year, no worries! We’ll get you up to speed. Here are a few highlights from this year’s show from the AfterShokz booth:
1. Many experienced open ear listening for the first time!
Introducing AfterShokz to new customers is always a memorable experience. This year, our booth included several point of purchase displays, meaning customers could walk up and try on a pair of headphones instantaneously – no pairing required and less waiting time. This also meant we had more time to move around the booth and answer questions from all of you. #WinWin
2. We learned more about YOU and your goals for 2017 – while giving away free #ShokzSquad swag!
New to this year, we dedicated a wall to you and your goals for 2017! Participants were asked to choose a blank card and write whatever it is they want to do or achieve in 2017. Then, participants pinned their card to the wall or had the help of a team member to do so. Here are a few photos of the progress:
The wall quickly filled with your goals and dreams for the new year and we couldn’t be more inspired! Each card was unique to each of you and we were honored to listen to some of the stories and thoughts that inspired your cards. A big thanks to everyone who participated. We wish you the best of luck in all of your aspirations for the new year!
3. We accepted the Editor's Pick award from Runner's World. Thanks, Runner's World!
Runner's World magazine selected Titanium to receive the Editor's Pick award. Thanks, Runner's World! If you're curious to read what Runner's World had to say about our headphones, be sure to check out their CES recap article which features Titanium.
